At Kleivstua, we also invite individual guests to experience the beauty of Krokskogen throughout the year. Kleivstua is the perfect starting point for exploring the forest and surrounding nature in every season. In spring, summer, and autumn, you can simply step outside and start walking – or bring a bike and discover the many roads and trails right on our doorstep. In winter, prepared cross-country ski tracks and illuminated trails begin just outside the hotel. The possibilities are many – offering great experiences for both young and old.
After spending time in the fresh forest air, food tastes even better.
In our restaurant, we serve dishes made with care and a passion for great flavors, often based on locally sourced ingredients.
We remind you that both lunch and dinner must be ordered at least one day in advance.
Kleivstua has 45 rooms with a bed capacity of up to 112 people.
All rooms are named after the fairy tales of Asbjørnsen & Moe.
With us, families can also rent their own cabin and eat delicious food in separate living rooms if desired.
For those who want to get even closer to nature, we also rent out hammocks – perfect for a night under the open Krokskog sky.
